Very comfortable overall experience. Fine, fairly clean place with exceptional views. Exceptionally comfortable beds in our family queen room. Hot breakfast with lots of meals.

It was in a fab location with an art museum nearby.

I loved the amazing sea views from my room and the hotel is just a short walk from the Bournemouth Observation Wheel and the Oceanarium, making it perfect for my weekend strolls through the area.

The location is great for a family holiday in Bournemouth. In addition, the pool offers enough variety for the children, if a day is announced in the hotel.

The staff is a little overburdened at breakfast. There are waiting times, which are not bad, but obviously unnecessary. Tables are not cleared continuously, so that not all tables can be used.

I've stayed in other hotels in bournemouth before, but this place was great with its spacious room and fantastic sea view. The breakfast spread was notably diverse, and the staff really added a personal touch with their friendliness.

Shower pressure was weak

Dining " a la Carte" in the evening was a great experience. Food was cooked to order and the roast crown of duck was well worth the wait. Previously we have not used the restaurant in the evening but will always do so on subsequent visits.the Menzies Carlton is always a pleasure to visit with friendly staff from beginning to end and good service throughout our stay.

Good location near the beach & town shopping. Normally quiet at the hotel, even if busy with clean and airy rooms.

Staff a bit slow Monday morning for breakfast but otherwise good service.

The family bedroom was surprisingly spacious and notably clean. Breakfast was plentiful and offered good quality, especially the cured meats. Unfortunately, we faced serious issues due to the room's poor state. The bathroom had black mold, and the taps ran brown water. The outdoor area was dirty, diminishing the overall appeal. Disturbances from other guests disrupted our relaxation, further detracting from our experience.

excellent location, beautiful rooms, courteous and competent staff, very good food. very good value for money.

too cold in the bedroom, too warm in the bathroom. despite two complaints, the shower did not work during my entire stay.
